By mastering Mandarin, you will gain a significant advantage in both academic studies and higher education, as well as stand out in the job market.

Join us for in-person classes in Budapest, or take part in our online courses. Together, we will learn Mandarin while making new friends, connecting with native speakers, tasting authentic Taiwanese food, and participating in diverse cultural activities.

Our courses are also open to Hungarian-speaking learners, with no English proficiency required. At the same time, if you wish to practice English, this is also a great place to do so.

  1. Take the Mandarin Placement TestNon-beginners are required to complete the placement test to determine their level.
  2. Schedule Your Oral InterviewAfter completing the Mandarin Quick Placement Test, you will receive an email notification with a link.Use this link to book your oral interview.

Saturday Novice Class

Absolute beginners, starting from pronunciation

Saturday 13:00–15:00

Online sessions will be arranged separately

Novice Course (Zero Background)

  • 2 × 60 minutes in-person (with a 15-minute break)
  • 1 × 60 minutes online class
  • Class Size: 3–8 students (small group)
  • Textbook: Let’s Learn Chinese, Book 1 (Lessons 1–5)

Course Features

  • Focus on basic conversation, pinyin, and everyday expressions.
  • Emphasis on speaking (listening comprehension + oral practice).
  • Supplementary practice in reading and writing (Traditional Chinese, as used in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and overseas Chinese communities).
  • Suitable for absolute beginners and language enthusiasts.
  • Positioning: Entry-level course → Easy and enjoyable introduction to Mandarin.

  • Textbook: Let’s Learn Chinese, Book 3 (Lessons 1–5)

Course Features

  • Emphasis on daily expressions and reading comprehension
  • Focus on speaking (listening comprehension + oral practice)
  • Supplementary practice in reading and writing (Traditional Chinese, as used in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and overseas Chinese communities)
  • Designed for learners who already have a basic foundation (completed the first two volumes of the series)
  • Positioning: General entry level → Progress with ease and confidence

Policies

Good to know before you enroll

Course Policies

  • The course primarily focuses on oral communication, with supplementary reading and writing.
  • Missed classes will not be rescheduled (only recorded sessions available).
  • The school reserves the right to adjust the course. If the course is canceled due to insufficient enrollment, students may choose to transfer to another class or receive a full refund.

Certificate of Completion

  • Attendance rate of 90% required.
  • Score of 75% or above on the final assessment.
  • Eligible to receive an official certificate of completion.
