🍵🎨 A Cup of Tea with A Touch of Art
On Saturday, 29 August 2026, our Culture Corner held a cozy and creative afternoon where art met the simple pleasure of tea.
In this hands-on workshop, participants transformed a natural slice of wood into their own unique wooden coaster, exploring simple painting techniques and playing with colours and patterns inspired by nature — something beautiful and practical to take home.
While painting, we slowed down and enjoyed a tea tasting experience, discovering different types of Taiwanese tea in a warm and relaxed atmosphere.
Workshop Flow
- 1️⃣ Introduction & Presentation of Taiwan tea (30 min): Taiwanese Tea Ceremony, tasting the flavours of Taiwan
- 2️⃣ Decorating a natural wooden slice (1.5 hr): step-by-step artistic guidance, a handmade wooden coaster to take home
